The European Union or EU is growing, and as new members with lower labor rates join, there is an influx of new manufacturing plants and the suppliers who develop around them. Not only can this improve the global competitiveness of firms in industrialized countries like Belgium, France, Germany and the UK, it also creates sourcing opportunities in new members and countries scheduled for admission.

 

Turkey is on its 10 year track for membership, and we expect that during the nest 10 years improvements in law, in education and infrastructure will lead to new manufacturing plants and the development of new supplier base.
