Since starting the Source Globally campaign, the interest and enthusiasm for outsourcing production--especially outsourcing to China--has been very high.

As a result of working with our partners in China, our team was asked to take on a project we call CASS.

CASS--China Avionics Security and Safety is a program to identify US made products in 3 focus areas could help the Chinese Government achieve its goals of improved avionics safety by upgrading existing facilities and equipment new facilities with a combination of products produced by US firms, by joint ventures with US firms and with technology licensed from US firms.

Equipment information should included specifications and review luggage, cargo and/or passenger capacity per unit cost.

Please list any references from installations in small, medium and large airports in the US.

The current CASS project focuses on 3 areas of avionics security and safety:
  1. runway & airport lighting
  2. luggage handling & security
  3. airport monitoring & security
    4.

CASS represents a way for US firms to work with the Chinese Gov't on programs that will increase passenger safety, while gaining access to new markets in China.
